Yesterday at the store I was ready to kill some customers ... right the first one gave me some shit :mad:

Today I have the evening off and will spend it quietly at home. Maybe I make it to bed early. Somehow I doubt it.

Those are the ferrys from Stockholm, Sweden going to Finland. My parents once traveled on one of those in 1988. Which was special since we lived in the GDR. My father had a Finnish colleague/friend and he invited my parents to Finland. It was amazing but my parents actually were allowed to travel. It was quite an experience for them. It is almost unbelievable now that we were not allowed to travel the world till 20 years ago.

Sorry to hear that you had to deal with a rude customer, but I guess that's part of working with the public. Guess you just have to check them out (figuratively speaking :evilgrin: ) as fast as you can and get them out the door.

I hear snow plows outside, so we must have gotten some more snow last night. It was such a beautiful walk to work yesterday morning, and today will be more of the same.

The strike Friday was "only" a warning strike. The employers and the union are talking today. If that doesn't bring a result next week we can expect a full strike ... hopefully not at the public transportation. At least not Tuesday. The other days I don't care as much :)

Today I started physiotherapy which was a massage and heat treatment. Next time I get to have my lymph nodes in my injured arm drained...whatever that entails :scared:

It is snowing again and Jill is finally tired of it.

I'm sorry your customers are giving you guff. Just relax and smile at them and take the wind out of their sales. I used to be a checker. I loved the job except for the customers :)
