Saw "The Young Victoria" today. (Bit of a spoiler)
Liked the movie.
Perhaps in part because Emily Blunt (Victoria) looks amazingly like our daughter.

There were times in the movie when she was angry/emotional and her eyes filled and became a bit red, her eyebrows turned down, that looked exactly like our daughter when she is in similar straits.
Uncanny.

Spoiler, sorta if your not a history buff:

Didn't know that Albert died at a relatively young 42 from typhoid.
They were married for around 20 years.
They had 9 children.

1. I'm looking forward to seeing it.
Nice to see Victoria portrayed as someone other than the imperial frump.

2. I liked it too...
Other than being very impressed by the cast and the production itself, I came away with the thought that Victoria was very lucky to have found Albert...an educated and cultured gentleman and very much a humanist. His early death was a terrible blow for her. She spent the rest of her very long life mourning him and dressed in mourning...which is why our stereotypical image of Victoria is an rather unhappy looking lady in black..
