I was a furrie today
I crashed my sister's employee Easter egg hunt in this:

I could never be a full time furrie...too hot!

16. They were hunting the plastic eggs...
with prizes in them. Like a half day off work, cash and funny stuff like a day of training with the Media Director from hell, getting to drive the company van to lunch, getting off at 3:00 when everyone else was too.

:hi:

Aside from being uncomfortable in the suit, did you enjoy yourself?

7. The carrot wasn't included...
I had an Easter basket full of cookies that I dropped stumbling up the stairs in those big feet. :)

5. Less than an hour...
The feet were so big I couldn't walk. And that mask wasn't smelling too nice either. :(

6. How did you see out of it.
Wearing that would be a good way to loose weight.

Between that and the feet, I was a pretty pathetic bunny.

13. :) See post above.
I don't deserve any credit for it being an altruistic move. :) It was more of a joke.

10. Hmmm, what were you wearing underneath?
Those suits get all hot and everything once you've had them on awhile.

23. Ha ha ha, I know just what you mean.
I had to wear one of those things that looked like a yellow duck. It was fun for about 5 minutes but then it got really hot in there. In December I dress up like Santa and drop by neighbors' houses. That's not as bad and the cool weather helps. I had no idea how much people appreciate that visit from Santa and I don't even take presents.

19. Oh, yeah, those feet were almost the death of me...
Try driving with those things on. I pulled over a half block away and put em on with the mask and drove there like that. Ha! Texting while driving is a cinch compared to this!

:)

:hi:

18. I was going to ask...
.
...how long it was before you got socked in the hippity-hops, but
then I noticed it wasn't little kids.
.
My older brother was Mr Peanut (the Planters' Peanut mascot) complete
with cane and outrageous top hat in the 1960's. It was a rigid type
of costume, but for some reason there was no protection of the, um...
you know... goobers.
.
He lasted the whole day, but he and his goobers didn't bother going back.
.
.
.
.
.
.
If "that's not a carrot", you should go in for a complete screening of
your liver functions.

24. When I worked at Little Caesar's and we had to occasionally go out
in the big suit, they had a vest full of pockets with ice packs in them that we wore.

Of course, this was also in Florida, so it didn't help a whole lot.
