I've tried to live my life
Defiant of the expectations of others.
Love? A delusion that has never been
offered without the expectation of servitude.
Reveal to me, if you are
out there god; a reason beyond
confused rebellion.
Keep me in mind when you reveal your
secret plan.

2. Humble thanks

Since I gave my one and only copy of the greatest thing I'd written twelve years ago, my poetry has been rare and rather uninspired. I still share it when a complete poem that enters my mind comes through all at once and requires no further tweaking.

Yep, that's how it is when I draw or paint.

Some write, or paint, with a more stream of consciousness way and call it done.

I don't.

Reminds me of what an artist said about paintings.
