4. Getting out of class about 10 PM in college...

...walking to the bus stop about a mile away down a street loaded with
student houses, fraternities, sororities, etc.

Me: about 30, very long hair, moderately long beard, looking a LEETLE
out of place on that street
.
Cop: very young, solo, patrol car... pulls up alongside of me but, by
the time he rolls down his window, I'm about 10 feet in front of him
.
Cop: pulls up alongside of me but, by the time he puts his car in park
and turns to speak to me, I'm about 5 feet in front of him and starting
to enjoy this IMMENSELY
.
Cop: pulls 10 feet in front of me, puts the car in park, but by now when
he turns to speak he is so flustered that the best he can come up with
is, "So... you, um... walkin' there?"

Me: "Yes... yes, I am."
.
Cop: (thoroughly and obviously embarrassed by now) "Well... OK." And
drives off. Quickly.

Made my night. That video brought that memory back.

6. Long-time Rush lover here...

...and I think Neil Peart is the absolute finest drummer I've ever heard/seen in my
life and Geddy Lee is the only castrati rock singer that I can bear listening to for
longer than a minute or so -- I could listen to Rush all night.
.
But... and I never realized this until just now... I never knew the name of the guitarist
(sometimes realized with a start that Geddy Lee was the BASS player -- just like the
occasional shock that Robin Trower wasn't the vocalist in HIS band).
.
Had to Google Alex Lifeson. Learn something new every day, indeed.
