When the hell is spring going to get here?

For the past week, it's been cold, (40's for highs,) wet and windy.

1. it's Wisconsin. be patient.

it's supposed to be in the upper 60's again by the end of the week. But yeah, enough already. By the time the daffodils are done I should be able to start planting some annuals without freezing my butt off! :hi:

2. We're holding it hostage in the PacNW.

Seriously, my lilacs are just about done blooming. All of the fruit trees are done.

Very weird.

3. And for me in Florida, summer came way too soon.

90 degrees today, been getting bit by no-see-ums for two weeks now, and the weeds are already out of control.

The ocean water temp is a healthy 70 plus, probably 74 and the humidity is getting nasty.

We're about ready to get a good storm to cool things off, but sheesh.

Never really had a nice spring here this year.

Went from really cold to really hot.

Oh well.

Wish I knew what all this means for hurricane season, which is only 5 weeks away.

4. It's been in Fargo for a month.

5. typical for this area, it's come and gone and

come and gone.

It's been hot, it's been cold, it's been pleasant, it's been raining, there's been hail and there've been tornado warnings.

And it looks like another wet year - which is bad for getting my lawn mowed and keeping my basement dry.

6. i've already eaten tomatoes from my garden!

I'm in S. Texas. We are having a very nice spring. Yesterday was the first hot day for us - upper 80s.
We've had lots of rain which brought tons and tons of beautiful wildflowers.

I love it.
