3. You can find manuals for lots of stuff on the internet.
I've got a tiller that's about 50 years old and the manual is on the internet.

5. Yeah, I found the manual for my 10+ year old MIDI keyboard online
a while back. Gonna have to refind it now, lost it in my last harddrive crash. :)

10. I'd be happier just finding a 30 year old Moog in the first place...

6. Bless the people who scan old manuals!
I've found schematics for ancient radios and manuals for most of my very old cameras.

I do wish the internet scammers would go away, however. Google searches seem to dredge up more crap lately, lots of people trying to sell stuff they themselves downloaded for free, or posting crap pages with a zillion ads and not even a link to an actual pdf.

7. This guy was 100% legit, and the PDF was absolute top quality
http://www.butkus.org/chinon/konica/konica_fs-1/konica_fs-1-splash.htm

The site owner writes "If you find this manual useful, how about a donation of $3," and I absolutely plan to send him one.

8. That's an awesome site for old cameras.
One of my obsessions is old thrift store cameras, I'll pay five bucks or usually less for most anything working that I don't already have, and maybe 10 bucks for something really nice or unusual. But one of my rules is I have to stumble upon the camera myself, otherwise (like if I went on ebay...) I'd have far too many cameras. I already have far too many cameras.

http://www.butkus.org/chinon/index.html has been in my bookmarks for a long time!

I hope they keep making 35mm and 120 film for a long, long time.
