My guess is it is a reference to Silver Ravens from the TV show First Wave.




Although the Silver Ravens in the show was when the TV Show First Wave was highjacked by an ideological group. Actually made the Silver Ravens look bad. Nothing to do with the actors, but you could tell the show changed.

You can tell at the end of the season before that plot line, in a few episodes it was clear that it was being said the show was being hijacked. Note that I do not agree with everything in that series, but it went from the idea of educating and teaching to ideas of being violent. It also went from ideas of some good and some bad in people, to black and white, and also changed its comments in first two seasons about superficial being bad.


I like the concept of Silver Ravens, and picked up that banner, when they changed the ideology of that show. Heh, literally somewhere I have a Silver Ravens Banner I made for a Online Game DAOC Guild years ago.


Note that I only see that show as metaphors.
