Spent the day with my Father at the home, this year I became a parent to my parent.
Many here know what I am talking about, many more will with time.

It is so strange to be fully in charge of your parent's life.

I don't know how many more Fathers day we will have but today was a good one.

1. I can SO relate to this.
Spent Father's Day in the exact same way. My father is 95. Up until the last couple of years, he had a pretty good quality of life, for which we are all very grateful.

The last two years have been miserable for him with the loss of his independence, etc. That said, he had all of his children and grandchildren with him yesterday, and he smiled a lot.
