Anyone else ever see "Allegro Von Troppo?"
It was Europe's version of "Fantasia."

Very good animated film.
There's a segment with a lady bee, that has a hilarious punchline.

And "Prelude To The Afternoon Of A Faun" is for all of us who are getting older. :-)

3. Yes, long time ago when it was released.
There are clips online of it, like the Bolero/Evolution segment :D

I remember they made a point of making fun of "Disney" in between segments ;)

9. Yep, that's the quote
:D

I remember they also had the animator (just one!) on stage and one of his characters either fell off of his drafting table or sneaked off. However, flames were also involved and I can't remember if the animated character survived or not :(

4. Yup. Saw it when it first came out.
Doesn't get the recognition it deserves.

10. I remember Debussy's "Afternoon of A Faun"
but there was also one of a cat going through flashbacks with where it used to live. Just can't remember the music. It was one of the sad pieces.

11. As memory serves, the music was Rachmaninoff's Vocalise.
Very poignant

12. That sounds familiar, so you're probably right

A brilliant film, no matter how much or how little you remember of it :)

13. Fact check, don't boot up without it.
It was Sibelius' Valse triste. Same wistful sadness.
