Should I Upgrade to Windows 7? Or stay with Vista.
I've always hated Vista, but getting used to it. I have the chance to upgrade to Windows 7. Is it worth it? Or would I be disappointed?

Be back in a couple hours ...

1. Absolutely upgrade.
Windows 7 is what Vista should have been. It's more stable, faster, and uses less memory and disk. I know there's a real debate among some about upgrading from XP, but anyone who has Vista and gets the chance to move to 7 should jump on it quickly. I've been using 7 since beta, and haven't yet found a single area where Vista was better.

If you want to do an actual upgrade (vs a wipe and reinstall), you WILL want to verify your upgrade path though. I was pretty irritated when I found out that I couldn't upgrade my Vista Home Premium laptop to Windows 7 Pro. The Upgrade process for 7 is the most reliable ever made if you're coming from Vista, but MS tossed a few roadblocks in for some versions. I ended up having to wipe the laptop, which I really didn't want to do.

3. While I admittedly had few problems with Vista ...
I would still suggest the upgrade to Windows 7. It's more streamlined and far less intrusive. I have had no issues with it whatsoever.

5. Let's see
Cost of Windows 7 upgrade-about $120

Having to buy overpriced new computer just to say you have a Mac-about $2000 and none of your old hardware will work with new one.

6. Upgrade now ! Don't look back
Windows 7 is so much better than Vista. We have Vista at work. When I told my IT guy that I had Windows 7 on my new laptop at home, he almost cried. Our IT people loathe Vista with a passion.

7. Windows 7 is good and stable
If you have the resources, do it

Rarely would I suggest someone upgrade Windows over their OEM version, but Vista is so bad, and Windows 7 really is like a service pack you pay for - so yeah

11. Definitely upgrade
Windows 7 is everything Vista claimed to be, but wasn't. The only reason I'm not running it, is I have jurrassic hardware that works better with XP, and can't afford to replace it right now. I've tried both Vista and Windows 7 on this machine, and while they both ran slow on the old hardware, Windows 7 was easily the better of the two.
