For those who have seen Inception already: What did you think?
I watched about an hour of Avatar and was bored. I want to see Inception for a few reasons, and it looks like it's a lot more intricate, and more of a thriller (in the spy type genre) than what I felt was a very slow Avatar.

I've read some of the reviews, mainly good ones, and thought this could be a pretty good film, with less actual violence than many such films out nowadays. So I'm curious to hear opinions, and tell me whether it's worth seeing.

I must confess, I've been sticking to some more PG type action in films because of the overabundance of the red stuff, but I'm finding that there aren't that many good ones that I can enjoy. I'm not into animation, so that leaves out a whole bunch, but I've enjoyed Sorcerer's Apprentice, the National Treasure films, of course the Harry Potter films, and the Night at the Museum films.

Any chance that I'll be able to enjoy Inception?

1. I've seen it. I liked it. Didn't love it. Thought it was a little long. Definitely

more shoot em up stuff than necessary.

I wouldn't see it again. I liked it about as well as Avatar. It has one very weak plot
situation...not to give it away.

2. It's Not Great, But Not Bad Either
It could have been more, much more, but Nolan probably had to pull back on the reigns in order to ensure a mainstream audience. Can't get Leo and a huge special effects budget if your movie only appeals to a narrow audience.

All in all, I appreciated the break from the normal Summer movie fare. Go see it.

I think that you'll like it. Not love it, but like it.
