Those crazy Minnesotans.
Apparently, the Minnesota AG's 2 daughters were arrested for fighting last night in Chicago at Crobar, and were subsequently arrested for kicking the window out of a CPD squad car.

Ya think Daddy's pissed? :P

5. Kicked out of Crobar? No biggie.
Kicking out the window of a CPD squad car......oops.

I wonder where they spent the night? Downtown at Cook County or in a CPD lockup?

And what would make two sweet girls from Minnesota turn in a couple of banshees? Hmmmmm?...

6. I suspect they never left the precinct house.
They probably appeared before a night magistrate and got bonded out not too long afterwards...:)

7. Really?
Even after they kicked the window out of the patrol car? I imagine that they were cussin' the CPD and screaming fuckin' bloody murder.

The CPD doesn't like that. They don't care who you are.

Doncha think?

8. I'm pretty sure they were in a CELL....
.... just not at County. I imagine booking, etc., took longer than normal, as well. You're right, CPD does not like 'contempt of cop'; if they'd been GUYS, I would almost wager they'd have been pepper sprayed, if not more...

9. It was Friday night/Saturday morning.
They were kicked out for being wickedly intoxicated. The police were summoned when they refused to leave the outside, they were arguing with bouncers, apparently.

When the police asked them to leave, one of the girls hit a cop, knocking off his glasses. They were taken into custody, and from the backseat of the squad they kicked out a window.

I doubt they would have been taken to 26th and Cal, no room for drunk girls there. Regardless of who their father was, two drunk (white) college girls most likely wouldn't be thrown in County overnight on these charges. They were released the next afternoon. And kudos to the CPD for not kicking their asses during the arrest. I always am proud of them when they don't haul off and club someone, so credit where credit is due.

They were released in the early afternoon, probably so the mayor could be consulted in the morning on how to handle the incident.

10. Yeah, Richey will get to make the call on this one.
I foresee...... a LARGE fine..... letters of apology to the officer who was hit..... restitution for the broken window..... either community service or substance-abuse classes, and..... supervision, rather than probation.

How are my psychic powers? :P
