7. Yeah, but I buy that for $0.89/gallon. Wine's too expensive for that purpose.
Besides, it never lasts that long.

9. You don't think they actually start *trying* to make vinegar?
They start trying to make wine.

If it goes sour, they make vinegar and sell it to you for $0.89/gallon.

12. I don't know. I've had wine that started out pretty damn close to vinegar.
And don't even get me started on bad beer.

8. I know. It's cognitive dissonance.
Cognitive dissonance is an uncomfortable feeling caused by holding conflicting ideas simultaneously. The theory of cognitive dissonance proposes that people have a motivational drive to reduce dissonance.

Would you like another glass?

11. they all work except #`1 make sangria
Edited on Fri Aug-27-10 11:00 PM by pitohui
but maybe i just don't like sangria, the other stuff works fine, if you're still debating what to do, just freeze the wine and use it for cooking later, doesn't have to be coq a vin, there are a lot of chicken recipes that use a bit of wine and the ice wine works great

as another poster pointed out, it is a very expensive way to make vinegar but if it's for christmas gifts damn the expense full steam ahead

but me i like putting the wine aside in ice cubes for cooking
