11. It is derived from the Italian...
"schifo", or schifosi, or schifosa.

It is a harsh term... and it basically means to be grossed out really badly. When you skeeve something, that thing is something that makes your skin crawl...it disgusts you beyond words. When an old school Italian uses the word, they usually say it in conjunction with hand gestures, such as wiping their skin off, etc. Usually, it is something of a sexual nature that is disgusting to a person that uses the word...something perverse that "skeeves them out".
