1. Is Latin really foreign? Since nobody actually speaks Latin
as a native tongue, isn't it local wherever it is? Capisce?

And the most useful foreign phrases of all are "mat"--the most vulgar of all Russian obscenities.

Dude, they're currently producing the Great Dictionary of Mat. Twelve volumes, and the first one is dedicated to the word 'dick.'
