I took Mom to see it, in 1970, when I was 18 and she was just 52. And I will never forget walking out so happily. Anyway, I think George C. Scott's version is the best, but that's not what this is all about: I think this underrated version (with Albert Finney, only in his early '30s) is WAY beyond appreciating. Please check it out.
