My SO and I spent a lovely, and much cooler, few days in Seattle for a business conference. It was quite refreshing, coming from the
Dallas area, to say the least. We totally enjoyed the city, the restaurants, and the hospitality. The weather was great until the day we left, when it started raining. Beautiful city!

1. As a born-and-raised Texan living in the Seattle area, I have to tell you

there's no place I'd rather live than here!

5. We have family in Portland,

been there once. This was my only trip to Seattle. Hey, I have a video of the fish throwing guys at Pike's Mkt.! They really do that!

7. Yes, we stayed at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel.

We did the harbor boat ride, and did the Boeing plant tour, which was too cool. Loved the whole trip!
