It's now a week and a half before the house modules arrive, so it was a relief to go to the site and

see that the foundation is now done. (Well, almost done. The floor still needs to dry.)

I bought a house down the street from where I lived as a kid..and the sidewalk in front has my brother's initials in it. They did it when the concrete was still wet. Pretty cool to have it there still...

6. D'oh! We never even thought of that. Well, maybe we'll just autograph the

drywall before we paint. LOL

7. Before my parents finished their basement...

they let us write on a section of the drywall--they put paneling up---the 70's called and want their paneling back LOL--anyway we wrote on it, our friends wrote on it...for about 6 months. When they do the basement again, and take the paneling down we all get a piece of the drywall to keep. Pretty cool..

13. Trees all around. :^) There are neighbors off to the side but there's a stand of young spruces

that were planted to screen them. And the ocean is near enough to walk to. Plenty of adventures for two rambunctious boys to have. :)
