Seriously, will they just finally toss Lindsay Lohan in jail and be done with it
Clearly rehab isn't working and neither is doing community service. Let's face it, us regular folks would have been jailed ages ago and done a few years.

Lohan is the Robert Downey Jr. of this generation and the only way he finally got his life together was serving time behind bars. I think the problem with LiLo is simple - she is so far out of touch with reality that she has no idea how to interact with other people or live a normal life. Perhaps a few years behind bars might finally scare her straight and help get her a grasp with reality.

2. She had some good work out there
Mind you it was in a genre that many of us usually don't want (tweener movies) but she showed promise.

4. If prison worked to rehabilitate chronic drug users...
Then I'd be in favor of a year's prison term. If it doesn't work that way, putting her in jail would just be vengeance.

6. She could go to jail for punishment, not rehab. It's been her choice all along.

5. She seems convinced that laws and sentences don't apply to her.
Kind of like a teabagger, only rich.

7. I would rather she were committed to a psychiatric hospital
The psychiatric ward of a prison would an alternative. She is not criminal, she is mentally ill, and should be treated as such.

8. I agree. Toss her ass into the slammer.
She has been given a pass a few times from the judge. She isn't stupid, she knows what she's supposed to do. If this were an average person, they would be in jail. She needs a reality check.

11. Yep.
They are the ones who need it. They are the ones who made her that way. Their kid needs to be committed, not jailed.

12. Rachal Zoe should be there too
Anyone who creates a look that is dangerous for the average person to maintain is borderline criminal if you ask me. But her system is to create women who are barely a size 0 with long bleached blonde hair. The women survive on a diet of cigarettes and cocaine plus the start young with regular botox and lip injections.

At the doctors waiting room I was reading one of those gossip magazines. They showed 'before' and 'after' photos of Rachel Zoe's pregancy - you could barely tell the difference since she looked like she starved herself throughout the pregnancy. I feel bad for that kid.

14. 1) she's an addict and 2) she refuses to stay away from Los Angeles.
As soon as she gets out, she's going right back to her baby bottle comfort zone.

Unless she stays away from Hollywood, which she won't, she's going to join the 27 Club. Harsh? Well, this is the result of not learning from your mistakes because you're having too much "fun" making them over and over and over again.

15. She needs a *serious* rehab
Not the kind that offers aromatherapy, horse-back riding and gourmet cuisine. She needs the kind I had, the one that confiscates your cell-phone, makes you get up at six a.m., and demands that you work - both physically and mentally. The place I was in was really, really good because they actually cared about the women there. They weren't in it for the money: most who worked there could have made much more almost anywhere else. Their success rate was phenomenal: confidentiality constrains me from mentioning who graduated, but you'd recognize more than a few names.

She's an addict. It's an illness, although one that can only be managed if the patient changes her behavior. Rather like diabetes, that can be controlled by diet, exercise and medication. Jailing sick people rarely cures them, and can even make them worse.

Of course it's true that her illness makes her behave in ways that endanger others. If she refuses to co-operate, I can see jailing her for our protection.

Before you start bashing addicts/alcoholics, remember Betty Ford and Ann Richards were one of us.

16. It's like how many chances
has she had. I guess no judge wants to be the "uncool parent". Let her rot, do hard time. Maybe she will survive, otherwise it's "Lindsay Lohan was found dead today, News at 11."

17. Oh sure!
You'd let a psycho kill your family without lifting a finger, but you'd gladly throw poor Lindsay in the slammer for a few years!

OH THE HUMANITY!!

20. violating the terms of her probation numerous times
Edited on Fri Oct-21-11 09:38 PM by blueamy66
There comes a time when you just gotta give up and put them in prison. She would get help there.

But hey, she's rich and the LA jails are full. Hell, send her to PHX....there are alot of empty beds in tent city. Spoiled bitch.

It's all effing bullshit.

unless you're being sarcastic...
