5. "The Homecoming: A Christmas Story" with Patricia Neal and Richard Thomas
It effectively became the "pilot" for the TV series "The Waltons," and even if you never cared for "The Waltons," you should still watch "The Homecoming" anyway.

11. George C. Scott as Scrooge
The Alistair Sim "Scrooge" is great fun but the George C. Scott version of "A Christmas Carol" is superb. I love the settings, the costumes and all of the acting.
