I am a bit apprehensive.....their "Daddy" spoiled them rotten...not that we won't....BUT

It's been a while since I've owned doggies....

Any advice?

1. No advice
just good luck and enjoy them.

I "adopted" a kitten about 3/12-4 months old in August and I used every excuse I could think of including fear that my 8 year old male cat might not like her to get out of taking her. Now I can't imagine not having her in my house. She makes me laugh at least once a day and the kitty snuggles are priceless. And best of all my first cat Cali really seems to love her too. We'll see if I still think she's so cute and funny after I put a Christmas tree up but at least for now I'm really happy she's part of the family.

2. Thanks.
I am worried about the tree as well. But we can "lock" them out of the family room.....we have doors..for some reason. Maybe we won't get a tree this year. :-)

Anyhoo.....I pulled out my old doggie water dish and my guy has secured the fences and worked on the doggie door.

I am looking forward to the company when my guy is on the road.

Glad your cats get along! I need this "family" as well.

3. I debated not getting a tree too
but I think I'll just leave it up for a couple of days without ornaments maybe with just the lights so she gets used to it and hopefully I can get it through her stubborn little head that it's not for her to climb. My stand is pretty sturdy so I don't think she can knock it over worse case scenario my tree only has lights with a little kitty topper instead of an angel. :)

Enjoy your new family members.
