8. Two nuns were in a carwreck

They weren't hurt and took their car to get repaired. The mechanic sent them to a fruitstand because he heard Nuns traveled in "Pairs."

9. Saw a tiny, migrating Easter Egg while pulling weeds today

Ground has been spaded up and I am out with the elderly cat, pulling evil salt grass rhizomes out of the clods. I spy, with my elderly eye, a lovely lavender egg shaped thing, about a half inch in length. I figure it is some plastic bead from a kid's toy or one of the Easter color m&ms.

Suddenly, it starts moving, struggling along the uneven dirt. Hmmm, says I, didn't know m&ms could migrate... Looking closer, I see it is being dragged by a large spider the same color as the soil. I watched as she struggled to haul the lovely lavender thing out of harm's way (me and my weed pulling stick.

She was a marvelous example of parental devotion, struggling to get her egg sack out of danger and safely tucked in undisturbed dirt. I wish humans could be so devoted to their young.

Me and the old gato went in and considered it all over a hot buttered rum.
