Poll question: Bath vs. shower
Assuming you have the time and the facilities to do so...
Which do you prefer?

1. I haven't taken a bath in years!
Unless sitting in a hot tub counts. ;-)

2. judges ruling...
Nope. Only if you are in the hot tub with the intention of washing off your dirty parts.

3. Bath.. love to sit and lounge in the warm water
If I'm in a hurry it's a shower, but a nice long bath is a part of my winding down in the evening.

5. As long as its a big, clawfoot-like tub with plent of hot water....
If its just a standard tub, I'd prefer a shower.

Wash up as far as possible, wash down as far as possible, and if your not too tired, wash possible.

14. conserve water shower with a friend or a couple of friends.
Two can fit in the shower better than in the tub. Once had some friends that had a shower stall big enough for 4 or 5. After a day at the beach we would all jump in the shower and wash each others backs.

15. When I had the time and facilities ...
... it was Japanese-style: a shower followed by a looong bath in a hottub. This was, no doubt, the best of all worlds. I could read, listen to music, watch TV, 'socialize,' or just vege out in the hot tub.

17. How about shower massage sitting down?
The best of both worlds; one can simulate a jaccusi or spa if one has sufficient pressure and hot water out of one of those hand-held shower massages. If you replace the six foot hose with an eight foot hose, you can get to your back when you need a little mid-back or lower back jet action.
Just remember to let the water out slowly to keep from over-filling once the tub starts filling up, and you're good for an hour or so.

18. Shower cause it's quick and easy but
I do enjoy a good bath once and a while but not to get clean. I just like to sit in the hot water and listen to music and light candles. It's relaxing then I take a shower to get clean.

19. two or three years from now
I may again be able to enjoy a leisurely soak in the bath tub. Right now, I do not fit comfortably when I lie down in the tub.

I miss soaking.

21. I take 5 showers and 2 baths per week.
The 2 baths are for shaving my legs. I haven't cut myself since I started shaving my legs slowly and carefully, while sitting in the tub, rather than in a hurry while standing up in the shower.
