Mike Malloy Expert -- need input.
I miss Malloy and have let anybody I can know. Hope he will be back on the radio soon. But I just started listening to him in November 2004! There is one thing I do not understand. When they talk about having a baby, is the father of the baby? Are they married or live-ins? And the pregnant Kathy to whom he is referring is his producer, right? Maybe Old Lady LawStudentMom just doesn't get things. Any clarification is appreciated.

1. correct
Kathy is Mike's wife and producer, and the upcoming child is theirs

Since you are semi-new to Mike, have you seen his archived shows at http://www.whiterosesociety.org/ ?

2. 1st heard Malloy in 98 or 99 when he was at WLS in Chicago
found it much more difficult to listen on the net

I think wife is Kathy - don't know if she is also producer or if that's someone else

I think he has 2+ adult children

3. Mike Malloy info. from www.mikemalloy.com "INFO"
Edited on Fri Apr-09-04 07:11 PM by twilight
<<Mike Malloy came to talk radio by accident. Writing for CNN in 1987, a friend at an Atlanta radio station told him there was an opening for a talk show host on the weekends. Malloy gave it a try and found a home. His radio experience includes WSB-AM in Atlanta, and WLS-AM in Chicago. Most recently, Mike's nationally-syndicated program could be heard weeknights on both the i.e. America Radio and Sirius Satellite networks.

His educational background focused on English and Political Science, and included study at N.C. State University in Raleigh, the University of Toledo in Ohio, Georgia State University in Atlanta, and Jacksonville University in Florida.

In addition to writing for CNN (1984-87) and CNN-International (2000), his professional experience included newspaper columnist and editor, writer, rock concert producer and actor.

It is not difficult to pigeon-hole Malloy politically. Generally speaking, he is a traditional Democrat working to return the Democratic Party to its historic liberal roots.

He is married and the father of five grown children and five grandchildren. >>

5. Thanks.
Maybe he had a previous wife or two, and that's why he has grown children. Gosh, I sure hope that he finds a spot on liberal radio, and that he shows up on satellite radio (or TV). Any updates?

7. Is "Daybreak" on at 3:00 a.m. PST
or do you know? I taped it this past week from 6-7 a.m. (CNN) and Mike Malloy wasn't on it. Would I need to set the VCR for 3-4 a.m. to catch Mike on Tuesdays do you happen to know?

Thanks.
