Vote on Move-On ads
Dear friend,
Bush in 30 Seconds, an online contest for 30-second ads that tell the truth about George Bush's policies, is asking folks to vote for the best ad in three categories. You can go to the site right now and choose the funniest ad, best animated ad, and best youth market ad. I just finished voting, and it was a blast.

You can view the ads and vote at:

http://bushin30seconds.org/people/

The contest is sponsored by MoveOn.org Voter Fund, an online grassroots organization that is running ads to expose the gap between what President Bush says and what he does. The winners will be announced at an awards show with Michael Moore, Margaret Cho, Moby, Rufus Wainwright, Janeane Garofalo, and other celebrities in New York next Monday, so please check out the site soon - we only have this weekend to vote.

Thanks!

1. Yes please do register and vote for these
Lot of very talented people created a wonderful array of ads. While the ads that MoveOn's judges will pick the ads for TV, our votes for this set will still reward the creativity of the other ads. It was really tough in the youth market and animated ads. I liked all of them.

2. Contingencies needed.
Hey,
I certainly appreciate all the good work Move-on does, but i think we need to ALSO be planning for the possibility of another coup by the Bush regime in November. With that in mind, i'm trolling for feedback on this contingency plan:

Recall those days of yesteryear when hordes of Repugnican activists
descended on Florida to rant & rave about the vote count, the whole fiasco leading to the enthronement of the Bush regime? Recall the lack of opposing forces during those dark hours? NEVER AGAIN! We need a contingency plan. Hook your activist wagon to the PEOPLES PLEDGE OF RESISTANCE, a potential list of outraged U.S. citizens pledged to non-violent direct action for democracy in the event of another theft of a U.S. presidential election.
This is a work-in-progress, your ideas and participation are encouraged. Contact us at: <nose4news2@hotmail.com>
Peoples Pledge of Resistance, coming soon to a search engine near you.
