Republicans believe in Personal Responsibility?
Edited on Fri Sep-23-11 08:55 PM by YewNork
The Democratic Position on a Health Insurance Mandate:

A person should be required to insure his health. Because when that person doesn’t insure his health,
OTHERS are FORCED to spend money that THEY don’t want to spend
(i.e. the higher medical fees that doctors charge patients to cover the medical care of people without insurance).

The Republican Position on a Health Insurance Mandate:

A person shouldn’t be required to insure his health. Because when that person must insure his health,
HE is being FORCED to spend money that HE doesn’t want to spend
(i.e. the premiums that insurance companies charge to cover the medical care of the person who buys insurance).

And yet, the Republicans claim that they believe in personal responsibility.

3. Not for themselves. Only for others, esp. people they don't like.

5. Those issues are errased with universal free health care.
No forced monthly insurance payments, and not indigents.
Yes higher taxes, or lower taxes and no wars.

What do we want perpetual murder or healthy Americans?
