What now? The question has hung over the antiwar movement like a thick fog. Activism has continued to grow in exciting directions, of course. But the impending election circus always sucks all the energy from otherwise rational people, who throw themselves into the quadrennial Dance of Death, tripping over each other with a curious zeal for candidates who don't share their interests-and who indeed, on both sides of the grisly political ledger, aim to co-opt or quash the antiwar fervor that is gripping the world. Enter Dennis Kucinich.

Despite the binary stupidity of a myopic press determined to judge it a failure, the incredible organizational and mobilizing power of the antiwar movement led unquestionably to the current stalemate and isolation of the U.S. imperial designs on the Middle East and beyond. Whether or not the war was stopped, it should now be clear that the massive global popular outcry prevented the validation of the war and its aftermath. The inspiring memory of tens of millions organized to take the streets on February 15 was an important milestone after all.

1. A 12 year old girl surveyed 410 people at anti-Bush rallies, beaches,

churches and other places in two of California's most conservative counties and 68% favored Kucinich. Apparently this is a different crowd than the conservative Democrats the news media interviews.The results of her survey are in her article "What Americans Are Really Looking For in a President."

That said Kucinich has 4 people here at DU high school aged who support him. Youre 16 right? Kucinich is the best, hes a sucess story, has a terrific out look and works hard, and above all he sees the potential in us.

Orange county and I thought I had it bad but hey glad to have you on the great campaign. Kucinich is the best of them all, he offers the best hope, and above all he knows how great the country can be.

DK shows the clearest difference between real Dems and what they should stand for, and what repukes and DINO-es are.

I like your guy Kerry as well and I think he gets a bad rap same with Dick Gephardt. That said my top 3 are Kucinich, Kerry, and Gephardt. Why you may ask, despite the latter two voting for the war they offer a pretty progressive and populist vision.

Besides I think not only is the best on the issues, has worked hard to get where he is, is a man of great courage, and has a great work ethic, I also think he has a terrific sense of humor. With him we can do so much good.
