Did you hear Jon Stewart's advice last night about the media??????

Someone probably posted about this, but it bears repeating anyway.
He closed out the special edition on Friday night with advice to viewers on the media....

He said everyone should watch the conventions, read the speeches, and turn off the TV.
As a collage of media "stars" appeared one by one, he dissed them one by one, some with just a "no", "not him," etc. I thought he lambasted Wolf Blitzer the most in his tone of dismissivness.

As the last picture came up and he was peeking through, he said,
"Make up your own mind.....Make up your own mind."

It was brilliant and brave!! Bravo Jon!!!!!

Although I also love the piece on Sharpton and the talking heads. To me some of the other material seemed weak this convention. But the final Kerry "biography" was terrific.

Plus he called Joe Scarborough "kind of a douchebag."

Not in that sexual way, though he's a cutie... I just love him period. He reminds me of one of my ex-boyfriends. If he were in town (my small town) I'd have his family over for dinner - that kinda love. He's just the man. Love him to pieces.

I've been waiting for someone, anyone to say such a thing to the American people. My only wish was that he'd said it earlier in the show, when more folks are still watching. But still, I give him HUGE credit for saying it..
