Night to Day. www.the-movement.com versus Dowd book party

I went to bed last night terrorized. I just discovered the web-site www.the-movement.com. This after telling myself I wanted to learn more about the capabilities of controlling aircraft remotely. I learned a lot and more than just about remotes and special little white aircraft and a whole lot more. I wondered how I missed links to this website after spending more time than I have following 9-11 threads on DU.

I woke up to the Dowd book publicity party of Washington and New York ‘journalism’ celebrities that was covered by C-Span and replayed this weekend. It struck me that this was the first time I saw C-Span cover a party such as this. For those who didn’t see it, she was hooked up for sound and the camera followed her around and they even ‘captioned’ names and affiliations of the people she spoke to and whoever the camera locked on to.

These were the some of the top people around Washington – names and faces we know – guest ‘experts’ and their hosts..

I wondered how many of these people have ever studied 9-11 theories or have heard about the remote control aircraft capabilities of the U.S. Government, plus Israel, Russia, China, (and Iran – Saudi Arabia to some extent).

I wondered how many of these people have ever sat or stood in ‘conversation’ with WH and DOD operatives to discuss how LIHOP and MIHOP theories could/should be suppressed – how to keep it from becoming the kind of news they would need to cover.

I wonder how the crowd divided up over the fact that our government declared a war, aimed a gun at Afghanistan, then shot Iraq. I wondered how many of these people have any interest in investigating missing funds from the DOD and other government departments. I wondered how many are grieved by the casualties.

For those who didn’t see it – there were some surprises in the crowd – not all were journalists. Ambassador Joe Wilson was with a woman who I think was his wife – a very blond, good looking lady of the right age who turned and went in the same direction next to him. The camera didn’t dwell on the two of them and her name didn't show up on the screen. There there was Alan Greenspan with Andrea Mitchell, Ben Bradlee with Sally Quinn, Tony Blakley, Lenny Davis, Bill Press, Jamie Rubin, Tim Russert, Chris Matthews, Margaret Carlson, William Safire, and ? Clymer (the person who first made Cheney cuss), honcho editors of the NYT, - you get the idea.

I went from the depths of studying theories that lead to treason last night to a fluffy- everything is very normal and there is nothing to worry about book event in the morning.

So I asked myself how should I spend the day.
