1. She seemed to give Cheney more (30 sec extra) response time
or is that just my imagination.

4. I don't think so,
I didn't see anything that made me feel that way.

9. She did give Cheney more 30-second rebuttal options.
There was one point in particular, close to the beginning of the debate (the second question, I think), when the split screen showed Edwards motioning to Ifill to ask for more time. After Cheney's rebuttal, Ifill just moved on to the next question.

Over and over, Ifill would ask Cheney, "Would you like 30 seconds to respond to that?", and several times, Cheney declined. I am pretty sure that she never said the same thing to Edwards.

2. Gwen sucked-- Michelle Martin would have been much better
or almost anyone picked out of the audience for that matter.

5. She also did on gay marriage.
Isn't Kerry flip flopping since gay marriage is legal in Mass? Um, NO. WTF does that have to do with Kerry? He had no say.

6. Yes, WTF was that?
She gave Darth Vader a total pass. I thought she was supposed to be a moderator, not a debater.

Sorry Gwen, but you don't get to editorialize! :nuke:

8. She was the worst I have ever seen. Giving editorials on JEs remarks
was just surreal. and she could not even remember who was to talk next SHE SUCKED. her snobby attitude gave PBS a black eye.

10. Ifill consistently asked Cheney easy questions and Edwards hard questions.
Remember the question about the "global test"? She very conveniently neglected to read the sentence that came just before the "global test" sentence. The previous sentence was the answer to her stupid question.

I heard here on DU that Ifill is good friends with Condi. I've also noticed her being biased in favor of the republicans on Washington Week. Last Friday, when someone mentioned that Kerry is a good closer, she said, "But hasn't that become a cliche?". Yeah, great. "Flip flop" hasn't become a cliche, but "closer" has. :eyes:

PBS needs to FIRE Gwen Ifill.
