-"I THOUGHT YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE ENLIGHTENED and tolerant of
everyone."

-"Why all the anger?"

-"you called Rush a LardButt or something.. I think thats uncalled
for.. I thought you guys were suppose to be more intelligent than
that?"

You know, I honestly think these people are actually, really, truly, genuinely disappointed!! I even sense a little vulnerability here. It seems that deep down these poor misguided ones realize what meanies their wingnut idols really are, yet take great comfort in the fact that they can always come running to us intelligent and enlightened liberals. Surely we warm-hearted wimps would never deny them our love. As much as they tear us up and put us down, we're their mommie, their security blanket, the soft edge of the world. But now they come, and what do they find? Hateful liberals!! Hateful, meanie liberals!! What a cruel world this must be, if (horror of all horrors!!)it turns out that those tree-hugging-touchy-feely-commie-pinkos are big meanies too!!!

Perhaps they deserve not our scorn but pity :D

From reading the hatebag what struck me is that the majority were pretty weak-minded people who seemed a little shocked that we give as good as we get. This pretty representative sample shows that these people listen to Rush et al because they give them a simplistic worldview that suits their prejudices. If we challenge that they get hopelessly confused. Poor dears!
