Cheney booed at Red Sox game in New York!
Edited on Wed Jun-30-04 08:25 AM by smjoyner
Cheney loses ground in New York.... if he ever had any....

"Cheney was booed when he was shown on the right-field videoboard during the seventh-inning stretch."

Third paragraph from the end - http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=240629110

edit: Boston > New York

3. What a surprise.
Being a Yankee's fan, I saw last night that Cardinal Richelieu joined 'The Boss' in his box. Damn near made me throw up; then again the boss is an ass, so I guess it's to be expected. But what a delight it is to read this morning that New Yorkers aren't as dumb as the RNC thinks.

Way to go Yankees and Red Sox fans! Give yourselves a Bronx Cheer.

7. "Cardinal Richelieu" is a spot-on description!
With the only exception that Richelieu was considered very intelligent as well as evil, while Tricky Dick makes up for that by being "double-plus" evil.

Did Cheney really wear a suit to the game???? I heard about the incident but didn't see it, and my first thought was: What did he wear? Did he bring his pitchfork? Too funny that thought flashed into my head about him.

8. Thanks for the nod
I've been calling him that for over 6 months now, and you are the first person to comment on it. Thanks. I do think it's an excellent comparison. And yes, Richelieu was smart and did strengthen France, so he's at least one up on dickiboy. But the corruption is the same brand.

4. Even a Yankee hat and Rudy by his side
didn't help...and he stormed out of the stadium almost immediately.

Did you see this apt description of him?

"hunched, man, the corruption has completely hunched and gnarled him. His mouth is pulled totally over on one side of his face."

6. What a Horses Ass going to a ballgame..............
all dressed up in a suit. Probably had to wear it to hide his vest. I'll bet Giulianni was livid when he heard he had to wear a suit to the game.

9. The peasents are revolting -
That troll is so out of touch. I hope this happens where ever he goes.
Fewer people believe his lies. He needs to go back under his rock and stay there.
