This will easily be the dumbest thing you've heard today
A caller on Rush said, "I'm a yellow dog democrat, I'm voting for bush and I'll tell you why" "He got us into this mess he can get us out. Why should anyone else have to clean up his mess?" "He made his bed, now he can lay in it." Rush pretty much had no idea what to say to that! He said, "It sounds like you don't have any faith that Kerry can do any better" and "So you're voting for bush to punish him?" She didn't really say anything back to that except to repeat what she already said. Yeah, it was awful stupid. She had a southern accent - go figure!

1. In all honesty....
I have considered that same thing myself. But it's pretty hilarious that it was on El Drugbo's show...

2. Right call Savage and every right wing nut you can think of
The message is we must elect the Idiot Bush and make him bear responsibility for the first time in his life. He has fucked up so bad that no one can fix it He must be made to be responsible for once in his life.

3. I can empathize
I think voting for Kerry is a no-brainer, but one thing is for sure: if Kerry wins, he's going to get blamed for all kinds of fallout from Bush's 4 years of screw-ups. It's unfair, but a foregone conclusion.

5. HA!
Surely she does not think he will attempt to get us out? He does not even see the mess. This would be his just desserts if you actually thought he would wisen up, fess up and do the correct thing. That kind of attitude is for parenting and not wise to apply to presidentin'. Sure, give him another 4 and just watch him go. Yep, that is the dumbest thing I have heard all day and I watched the press conference!

6. Why do these people make all southerners seem retarded?
I'm a REAL yellow dog democrat and I'd rather cut my own fingers off with a buzzsaw than vote for shrub. But maybe that's just me.....

8. This is the dumbest thing I've heard today but
a few days ago one of my co-workers said something that would make her seem smart. A few of us were talking about Bush's "accomplishments" and someone (with a higher position than me) said that she still supports him because of Nostradamus. She claimed everything he ever said is true and that around this time there should be a war in the middle east which will lead to a world war which will lead to the apocalypse. Since Bush is more likely to start a world war she's voting for him.

Needless to say I'm looking for another job.

10. Bush and Armageddon
It's a sad fact that our foreign policy is based on fundamentalist end-times crap. Seriously. If you look at the company W keeps you can't help but think he must be trying to bring about the second coming of Christ singlehandedly. Imagine what he could accomplish toward that end in four more years.

9. I think the caller is sharper than you give her credit for...
It seemed like she was setting a trap for Oxyrush to fall into because she was supporting b*sh but calling him incompetent at the same time - Rush had to think real hard for that one and then the obvious thing occurred to him - divert this to Kerry by suggesting he could no better.
