Comical Interpretation of Debates by RW Nut Cases
I knew FReeper types would have some sort of interesting spin on the debates, but this one is so out there, it's laughable.

They are saying Kerry did well and used proper grammar, so HE MUST HAVE CHEATED. Yep, no way could a politician get through the debates without gaffes, so obviously he had the answers beforehand. I guess they're so used to inarticulate Blooper Bush, they think anyone who doesn't sound like that is a cheater.

That's some heavy duty denial!

1. Interesting...
...that they have it in their heads that the only way someone can win is through cheating. Do they have some experience in this area, perhaps?

2. ugh. I hate it when you make me go there :)
--to the freeper site, I mean. It's like being in a Heironymus Bosch painting or something. So much hideousness going on you don't know where to look.

And ignorance. One poster, to prove his theory that Kerry knew the questions beforehand & that's why his answers were so "facile", pointed to how quickly Kerry recounted the story of JFK and deGaulle, when deGaulle said "the president's word is good enough for me." That story has been referenced by numerous people in talking head shows on WMDs and Iraq. They really are grasping at straws.

3. LOL
I read that crap and I laughed the whole time.

My favorite: "Kerry uses better grammar than President Bush but so do a lot of people. So what? We're not electing a grammarian."

LOL! Freepin Idiots over there.

They are all complaining saying Kerry had the questions beforehand, but didn't both of them? I thought that was one of the shady parts of this "debate"? Maybe I am mistaken...we democrats can admit it when we are.

5. Kerry won because he is articulate and intelligent, Bush lost because he..
is an idiot.

6. Kerry's proper grammar
Sad to say, but it must be true. I just spoke to my daughter who is very bright and she said she had difficulty understanding all they talked about on the debate. She is busy and not interested in all the details like we are in New Hampshire. I don't think I was at her age either. But the point is, that even though she will vote for Kerry, she doesn't get it all. She even said, in a way Bush was more likable. Maybe that is what is going on. People just aren't educated about the truth and the sound bites are what work. But also isn't that sad. Somehow it seems impossible not to see through the phoniness of Bush's friendly way, the shallow way he presents himself. But I doubt that anyone realizes that is what he is if they are attracted to him. It is easier that way. Yet life is difficult and we have a responsibility to take it seriously so we can have fun and live well.
