Tax Cuts Ineffective For Majority In U.S.
(Angus Reid Global Scan) – Many Americans believe the tax relief measures passed by George W. Bush in his first term have not been helpful, according to a poll by Hart/McInturff released by the Wall Street Journal and NBC News. 54 per cent of respondents say the policies have increased the deficit and caused cuts in government. <snip>

2. Another choice?
What about "Federal tax cuts don't mean a damned thing since all my other costs have skyrocketed, plus I'm discovering backdoor taxes on my phone and cable bill; not to mention, state, local, school district, county, etc."
