I'd hate to go bankrupt the day after they hand out the checks, or two weeks too early or something.

I did that by becoming unemployed nine months before they extended unemployment benefits, so I got screwed out of who knows how many pounds of government cheese.

2. I'm with you.
Married and a housewife for eighteen years. The husband says "fuck off" and I say, "what?" I need a serious bailout and I guarantee that I'm worthy.

Doesn't it enrage you? Seriously. Even if I put my own ridiculous situation aside, there are so many individuals and families who are worse off and who have never gotten a break.

Small rant due to the late hour.

3. For mortgage assistance
I think you have to be 90 days delinquent, so you'd better stop payment on that last check if it hasn't cleared yet.

4. I'm wondering if it's possible to incorporate my yard into it's
own little town. Then I could join with other municipalities in the request for bailout money. Believe me, if I thought it would work I'd go for it! }( Seriously, best of luck to you.
