Nigerian Gov: Kerosene Shortage Will Persist Indefinitely - Afriqengline
Millions of homes in Nigeria are without cooking fuel known as kerosene and the situation will persist for an indefinite time, the government announced here on Monday.

The Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Engr. Funsho Kupolokun told Journalist in Abuja, that the kerosene scarcity would persist until repair work is completed on the supply facilities at Atlas Cove and Mosemi, off-shore of Lagos.

Kupolokun who rebutted allegations of his sacking as a result of the shortage, said the facilities, where imported kerosene is off-loaded, were severely vandalised in several places.

NNPC, he said, was doing all it could to remedy the situation that was worsened when unidentified persons vandalised some pipelines.

1. liquid fuel, is the most expensive fuel in the world
why do people, of presumably very-modest-means,
choose the most expensive fuel they can find?
