A blessing in disguise
A blessing in disguise

Moshe Dann pleased that Biden, Clinton emerged from Obama's closet hatred of Israel

Moshe Dann Published: 03.15.10, 00:44 / Israel Opinion

If delusion is one of the most dangerous pitfalls of diplomacy, then, paradoxically, recent criticism of Israel by Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is a blessing in disguise.

Condemning a routine announcement of Israeli plans to build a new neighborhood in Jerusalem, Biden fired the first shot. Clinton added that "it was not only an insult to Biden, but an insult to the United States."

Such fiery attacks on Israel are sharp contrasts to pledges of love and loyalty, rhetoric meant to anesthetize Israelis against the reality of American policy and intentions.

We should all breathe a sigh of relief, not only that these agents of PLO policies – that Jerusalem is negotiable – have left, but that it's out in the open.

Prime Minister Netanyahu avoided the first salvo by excusing and apologizing for the "untimely" announcement. Actually, the timing was perfect. It exposed the real purpose of Biden's visit and President Barack Hussein Obama's direction.

2. Israel has been saying since 1967 that Jerusalem would remain undivided
No Israeli government can survive by partitioning Jerusalem. The US has known that since forever!

3. And how do you propose 'destroying' a state?
War? Not recommended IMHO.

4. Moshe Dann would make Netanyahu look like a dove!
He is totally opposed to any sort of Palestinian state, and bashes many Israeli politicians for even considering one. He described Operation Cast Lead as 'too little too late' and wrote an article for 'American Thinker' in 2009, called 'The 'Rape' of Israel' which began:

'Two years ago, Haaretz 's chief editor David Landau advised US Sec of State Condoleezza Rice to "rape Israel," to force it into making concessions. Rice tried to follow Landau's suggestion, but her efforts were not matched by her boss, President Bush. Now, that policy seems to be led by President Obama himself.

Assisted by Rahm Emanuel, Hillary Clinton, Dennis Ross, Dan Kurtzer, and others, Pres Obama seems intent on taking Israel down. In addition to the usual left wing Jewish organizations, the Reform Movement's PAC, Americans for Peace Now, a collection of marginal anti-Israel organizations have also lined up for the gang rape.

The analogy is appropriate: A stronger power forces his will upon a weaker victim regardless of what is fair, moral, and without any concern for the trauma he inflicts. The rapist (in this analogy) does what he thinks is good for himself. He wants what he wants.'

Not exactly devoted to the cause of peace!!!
