Gaza - Two Gazan militias Saturday announced they would back out of a truce with Israel they had only called last week, over an early morning Israeli airstrike that left three Hamas militants dead.
The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, both based in the Gaza Strip, made their announcement in the wake of the Israeli airstrike on a car near the southern Gaza Strip city of Kahn Younis.
Hamas said in a statement that the three militants were members of the al-Qassam Brigades, and the movement vowed to revenge their death.
Hamas also denied Israeli Army claims saying that the three dead were planning the kidnapping of Israelis in the Sinai Peninsula.
