By the way, there was a plan to attack the Radisson Hotel in Amman as a part of the millenium plot. The other parts of the plot (failed attack on the USS Sullivans and failed bombing of LAX and, possibly, Boston Logan) were repeated in the form of the attack against the USS Cole and 9/11, where many of the planes were flying from Boston Logan to LAX.

Also interesting in the light of the victims this time is that the code name for the embassy bombings, the millenium plot and, some sources suggest, 9/11, was the "big wedding".

3. Wow, that was fast!

I'll append a copy of the original article that was on that
link just minutes before your reply. This is typical.
Damaging info gets out in early reports - then the fix
goes in. The exact same thing happened with Netanyahu
being warned about the London bombings (he was attending
a conference in London at the time.) Authoritative Israeli
sources at first reported that Netanyahu was warned to stay
in his hotel room just hours before the explosions. Then
the fact of those warnings was vigorously denied by
Israeli authorities.

Of course I realize that you will see this as entirely
innocent, Kevin, and in fact in the absence of the
later retractions you would view the warnings and
evacuations as entirely innocent as well. And you
would also view the fact that the Palestinian's
Intelligence chief got killed as completely
coincidental. I guess I just have a suspicious
mind.

Israelis evacuated from Amman hotel hours before bombings

A number of Israelis staying on Wednesday at the Radisson
hotel were evacuated before the bombing by Jordanian security
forces, apparently due to a specific security alert. They were
escorted back to Israel by security personnel.

The Foreign Ministry stated Wednesday that no Israeli tourists
are known to have been injured in the blasts. Representatives
of Israel's embassy in Amman were in contact with local
authorities to examine any report of injured Israelis, but
none were received. There are often a number of Israeli
businessman and tourists in Amman, including in the hotels hit
Wednesday.

Israel's counter-terror headquarters on Wednesday recommended
Israeli citizens not travel in Jordan. Travel warnings
regarding Jordan were tightened a few months ago, but many
Israelis still visit the country. Many also visit other
regions such as the Jordanian Arava and the ancient city of
Petra.
