Curious.
The White House Chief of Staff "walked away from Bush immediately" after informing him that the nation was under attack. Why didn't he wait for a response from the Commander in Chief of the U.S. military? How did he know that the Commander would decide not to respond in any way to prevent further planes from crashing into buildings, but instead would continue reading a children's book?

1. An excellent question that nobody has ever given a good answer to
probably what Card said was very different from the official version.

2. Only 1 logical reason: they knew
I mean can there really be another logical reason other than they knew?

13. Another explanation could be that Bush is merely the Puppet
and Cheney and the rest of the cabal is pulling the strings.

4. Maybe it went something like this...
Andrew Card: Sir, there has been an improvised change in scenario 12-D.

George W. Bush: Oh Shit! (he thinks to himself)

P.S. StrafingMoose;

I'm just an average guy with an average life
I work from nive to five, hey hell I pay the price
But I want is to be left alone in my average home
But why do I always feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone

I always feel that somebody's watchin' me
And I have no privacy
I always feel that somebody's watchin' me
Is it just a dream?

:yoiks:

5. Because whatever Card told Bush didn't require an answer
so he couldn't have told him 'America is under attack' because a response would be expected to such statement.

I think what Card really said, we 'Sit tight, the 2nd plane just hit. Two more to go'.

8. Especially, when you consider the fact
that all of the planes were supposed to take off by 8:00 AM and the attack was supposed to be over by 9:00 AM.

Bush was never supposed to get stuck sitting in that classroom. Instead, if the attack went off on time, he would have just gotten to Booker to the news that multiple targets had been hit. He would have given a quick response and immediately left to go back to AF1 and to deal with the emergency. Instead, he got stuck with his pants down and had to sit around stalling waiting for the attack to finish.

BTW: The same thing happened to all the other high level officials. They all had to stall until the Pentagon got hit, before they could respond to the ongoing attack.

12. Exactly what I think.
It's pretty well established that they were aware of 11 hitting the WTC before they entered the classroom. Given that the PDB 4 weeks earlier had warned that AQ would attack US targets using planes....I'm surprised he made any classroom appearance. Why wasn't the photo-op called off as soon as the 1st attack occurred? I think the reason was they wanted Bush to have a public "Mission Started" moment.

It would seem that the 2nd plane had to have happened before he went into the classroom...based on his own testimony (and I'm cutting him slack that he confused seeing the 1st plane with the 2nd plane). So why go in that room at all?

Now consider the whole event is a big surprise to this administration...seriously, lets pretend no one had a clue about anything happening. When the 2nd plane hit, why isn't there general panic and the SS making the command decision to get him out of Booker immediately? How would they not assume the worst? Like a Cessna packed full of C4 or RDX headed for Booker? Or 20 other plane hi-jackings underway? The terrorists, afterall, were flying out of airports located within 10 minutes flying time of the school. Bush's schedule was public knowledge...why wouldn't AQ use this as an opportunity to take out a pResident who was best buds with the House of Saud?

I think the answer is in the choreography. Something like this must go precisely to a scripted plan. One thing they didn't count on was 93 being held up 20 minutes on the tarmac. Once underway, no time to have a 'do over'. So Bush was reduced to improvising, sitting in the classroom wondering if they'll be able to pull this off. I wonder what he was really thinking about...

10. The House Of Saud V The House Of Zion refereed by George W Bush!
Edited on Fri Nov-25-05 12:32 PM by seatnineb
Here is another take:

Andy Card:
"The Neo-cons wanna piece of Saudi Arabia's ass....we are gonna have to attack Saudi Arabia for this"

George Bush:
Over my dead body!....The Saudis once saved my ass!....I'll send Jeb to confiscate everythin' they have got at Huffman aviation....we can change this to make it point to Afghanistan!
