I said it in Skinner's post in GD and I'll say it here. I don't post much but I read a lot of the posts here and I am grateful for all the work that some of the posters here have put into finding the truth. I guess a lot of people still aren't ready to hear it.

1. The sad / amazing thing is...

That, from a cursory-ish glance through the 9/11 sub-forum, the supposed "tin-foil hatters" are the ones that seem willing to engage in actual discussion and analysis, vs. the official theory supporters who definitely act like their religion is being attacked and they have to "Burn the witches!!!".

In its own way, there's a fairly fascinating social dynamic at work.

Yes I guess so but it's very frustrating to see this subject treated in this way when there are plenty of legitimate questions that scream for answers!

And yes I view this Sept. 11th forum everytime I log on. I've learned alot from reading all the research many here have done.

4. Oh, I agree...

"Fascinating" wasn't intended to be an exclusive adjective.

And the dynamic itself (at a "meta" level) truly *is* fascinating. For a subject that, in many instances, lends itself to scientific analysis and examination, the religious like defense of the official theory (and, truth be told, some of the alternate explanations) is amazing.

Personally, I much prefer to start from the perspective of "I don't know what happened, but let's look at the facts of the events and determine what would be possible to make those facts occur". Once you take that approach, it's, at least for me, pretty easy to see that the official theory is insufficient to explain the end results.

I don't claim to know how it all happened, but I've got a pretty good idea of how it didn't.

5. I also agree undeterred... The DU September 11 Forum =

911 information clearinghouse. This forum reaches all 911 sites and brings them all together for discussion and battle against the debunker's. Despite those disruptor's I find the company here "outstanding" certainly the type of folks who'll end up in Gitmo once the Imbecile King Geroge declares Martial Law. I would name names but with NSA and AT&T reading this I decline to.

I gotta say, I feel like a bit a jabrone, cuz I hadn't really checked out this section (oh the joys of dial up, grrrrr!) and mainly only had time for GD. But today, when whoever it was who moved the post about http://www.madcowprod.com I was like, what the HELL!? That post have WAY more to do with just 9/11. And no offense to the mods, but I mean, it's like DAMN! So I will highly recommend people from now on do like me and bookmark this section!!!!!!!!!!
