CBS Undecided Voter Poll (Kerry comes on top again...barely)
Edited on Wed Oct-13-04 10:32 PM by Domitan
39 for Kerry

25 for Bush

36 for a tie

They really liked what Kerry said about outsourcing jobs and hated Bush's lame justification for it. However, they liked Bush's line on taxes. Still another win for Kerry.

1. +14 points is barely?
I would like you to allocate the remainder of my life. "Just a few more centuries? Fine."

2. 39 to 36 can be considered as "barely"
Yes, Kerry was far ahead of Bush, but he barely beat out the "tie" vote. ;)

4. These people are "undecideds"
Of course a bunch of them consider it a tie - it's in their nature. But you don't go up against the tie, you go up against your opponent.

13. He wasn't debating a tie. He was debating Bush.
The tie votes are neutral.

6. if those undecideds were forced to decide
and worst case scenario, half went to kerry (usually a large majority side with the challenger) then it's still a decisive win!

9. Consider this:
Imagine the spin if "TIE" got 39 and Kerry got 36.

11. Well you read me wrong
Kerry's number in the first debate was a wide rout against both Bush and the tie. So it does look closer in comparison here (esp via the tie).

12. Not barely
Okay, let's say they people who said they tied are split in half, 18 each. Add that to the totals and you get this:

Bush 43
Kerry 57

That's a 14 point win.

16. You need to give up this witch-hunt mentality
You may think my point is ridiculous. That's fine. But to call me a freeper, consider yourself a slanderer.

20. what witchhunt from this part?
I just found that poll to be a bit close for my comfort, that's all...as I thought it should be evident to the undecided that Kerry whipped Bush by miles. You found it to be a resounding rout. That's fine. Just different perceptions.

By the way, is it possible for you to present arguments without sounding shrill. Perhaps you should take lessons from Mr. Kerry.

22. Have fun with your post - controversy makes posts - who's being shrill?
Not much agreement here with your "view" so get over yourself. Shrill - ya OK bud.
