2. I seriously think he may have had a small stroke recently.
Something is definitely not right with him. Yeah, I know, he's a jerk and all that, but he has been heretofore a healthy middle-aged man.

7. I'm thinking the same thing...
The guy has some SERIOUS problems (unrelated to his politics). I'm betting it's much more serious than a drug addiction.

4. I was on valium for a period of time ...

I remember looking at myself in a mirror and thinking I looked something like that. Just out of it. I didn't like the way it made me appear, or at least I didn't like it once the effect had worn off. During ... well, I just didn't care. :-)

Interestingly, my doctor prescribed it for me because I was having severe panic attacks while giving public presentations, which at that time of my life I was having to give quite often. I'd take one a few hours before, and I gave better speeches. Or at least I thought I did. If I acted anything like that, I now understand why I'm not longer doing what I was doing back then.

5. Anyone want to speculate
over his erratic behavior? Scared of losing? Scared of something we have no idea about? Internal polls looking bad? Investigations?

8. I had to work tonite but my wife said something similar
when she watched it. She said during the first part of the debate he seemed real tired. Almost like he was sleepy. I guess she wasn't the only one that saw it.

10. Quiet and calm??
I thought he was going to break the podium the way he kept banging on it..It was reminiscent of an early 20th century speaker's bodily movements..Very irrational..

12. Hmm Drooling at the mouth?
Edited on Thu Oct-14-04 12:12 AM by Bushneedstogo
My guess would be that he is on very heavy psychiatric drugs which has to be the reason that his mouth is dry all of the time and he keeps drinking water.

22. Coedine
Or some derivitave (Lorecet, Percocet)
It gives a slight feeling of euphoria and correctness without making one seem "over-the-top," but still renders one with wild eyes, a dry mouth and the sense of always being correct.
It also relaxes ones facial muscles (so one doesn't "grimace" or "smirk").
He was drugged.
Not sure he was wired, but he was drugged.

13. Botox, a little too much on rhe left. . .
I was staring at him, drooling out the right side and slanted mouth (like papa cheney) on the left and thought. . .did they botox him so he would stop flinching?

15. Ding! Ding! Ding!

Yep! Now that makes sense (why his mouth was so off kilter). I was thinking stroke, but now that you brought it up, it DOES look more like a bad botox job!

It still doesn't explain his brain problems though ;-)

16. It's the Xanax
I heard his niece Noelle gave it to him. She said he was too aggressive in the second debate and that it would help calm him down.

21. I don't know, but he was slobbering
Of course, keeping bone-conducting soundmikes in your mouth might cause slobbering!

:)

What a idiot Shrub is.
I shake my head daily at the smart people who are so brainwashed into voting for him - I really do.
