A Kerry/Cheney White House? It could happen!

For example, if just New Hampshire and Nevada (or West Virginia) shifted from favoring Bush to the Democrats this time, there could be a 269-269 tie, leaving it to the House to pick the next president and the Senate to pick the new vice president come January.

That would leave open the jarring possibility of a Bush-Edwards or Kerry-Cheney pairing, depending on the political leanings of the new House and Senate.

2. I'd like to see a Bush/Edwards WH
Edwards would kick Bush's ass on a daily basis. Bush wouldn't last a week before he'd be begging to resign.

3. What kind of MORANs allowed the total EV # to be an even number!
Voting 101 is to have an odd # of voter to insure no ties (Supreme Court = 9, House of Rep = 435, Senate = 101 (100+VP) ).

This must be one of the biggest "Duhs" in American History.

4. the dumbest thing was requiring a majority of EVs to win
it kills third party candidates (both good and bad for Democrats), and if there is no majority, it goes to the Congress. what a way to remove partisan politics from the process!
