She stated that the colleges were having a field day signing up new voters and that in the city of Philly, there was 1 republican voter for every 9 democratic voters

8. She started out by talking about Philly but....
then stated something like its becoming a trend in Pennsylvania, and that it appears Penn is no longer a swing state and that it most likely will go to Kerry

10. Not necessarily....
I keep hearing and reading how its becoming a close race in NJ....Whatever you do though, DO NOT BELIVE IT. Its bullshit. Mind you, unless you were born and raised in Jersey, there is nothing good to say about it, but as a native I can tell you this...Jersey people are very intelligent, just like NY and MA and there is no way in hell that Bush could win Jersey.

All of these polls are bullshit and dont mean anything...Id bet everything I had on NJ and PA if vegas had a line on this election.

18. I heard a report last night, or the night before (CNN or MSNBC) that
the GOP's ad buy - sheesh - trying to remember - for the New Jersey area was now a no-go. It was actually an ad buy for the New York area that they either canceled it or didn't renew. The scope of the ad's market reach was well into New Jersey, and now, will not be. The point was that they're in effect giving up on New Jersey, even though it's supposed to be a tight race, at least according to the reporter. This is just the bare shards I remember, because I caught it in passing, so it could be factually a bit off. But I do remember the impression it left on me, which was "giving up on New Jersey, 'eh?"

21. Glad to hear this...I'm a lifelong Jersey Girl, so if you're not
advertising out of Philly or NYC, then you're not advertising in NJ!! I guess there's that RW radio station I tuned out that came out of Trenton...but no TV sounds great!!

(I'm in NM now, and we get nothing down in Las Cruces, which is the ONLY city in the state not in the ABQ market...we're in the El Paso market, expensive and why waste money in Texas?)
