Two weeks and one day - it is inevitable.
The polls will reflect a closer and closer campaign right up to November 2nd, because they really have no idea who is going to win, but they want to preserve their credibility to fight another day. Many will poll it as a "draw" on the day before the election. Perhaps with a caveat for one candidate or another, but we will never see polls as tight as these will be on November 2nd. All the time and energy that was devoted to these polls over the last year or so, will have been wasted. They will end up being ambiguous and ambivalent about who is going to win. They should have been ignored from the beginning.

1. I vote on Monday morning, in about 6 hours.
I'm so nervous. True, I'm in Texas, but I still want to be one of the 60 million voting to send a mandate for Kerry. Otherwise, I would've voted for a third party of some sort.

There's so much at stake here. This election is consuming me whole, affecting my everyday life. I should be in bed right now, as I have my clinical rotation at the hospital tomorrow morning at 730am, but I can't sleep.

I think that this is going to be the first time in my life where I literally stop to pray in the voting booth. And faith has never been a very big thing in my life.

15 days.. God, truly bless us.. we need it..
