Just had an intro, was blistering for Bush actually. Really attacked him on job loss.

female: undecided, needs plan to end war, restore peace, concentrate on home, reg. Repub., not enough specifics from Bu$h. Healthcare, teaching, etc. Listening to both sides.

28. details are lacking!
I know the plans and the specifics because I can hunt the damn Kerry
website and dig them out. But for your average Internet surfer I'll bet they can't even find them. Multiple layers and to get the real answers
they are in scattered pdfs.

But try to find one major newspaper that has reported, accurately,
the details. Very few.

Try to find those boring details in a speech, of course not, it puts
people to sleep.

The campaign needs to print out those plans and give them to people in Ohio.

I'm a researcher by trade and here's an example, H.R. 4520. Even people
very active against outsourcing did not know there were major
chances by the House ways and means to increase tax incentives to offshore jobs. Only Sen. Kennedy & Dodd brought it up and digging it
out, you literally had to read the bill itself.

57. "details" it would help if the damned media would do issues instead
of worrying about Teresa.......

But, I have to say--I wrote a letter to the editor today to rebut a jackass, and went to look for some info on the healthcare plan. I knew most of the points but wanted to really be sure. I go to the Kerry site and it was so vague, I wound up researching it and found a very good, specific overview at the American Academy of Family Physicians website!!!!

What is with these undecided voters, and their desire to be pampered?
The woman who just spoke up, saying "All you hear about are plans, but no details. I want to know exactly how each candidate is going to, for example, pay for things."

What in the hell...? I'm so tired of hearing this lame excuse for being undecided. What do they expect... the candidates to spend hours and hours of wonking America to death with the details? The details are widely available online, and both Bush and Kerry have issued books that explain their plans in great detail.

This spoonfeeding thing has got to end. And, might I also add, why do most of the "undecided" voters always seem to be leaning for Bush?

probably feel that bush is "ok" and will just go to him.

It is very sad to see them up there bitch and moan about details... then given the details they'll bitch about being bored and overwhelmed with too many numbers.

71. You can pretty much count on the
pugs to blame 9/11 for everything they haven't been able to accomplish and all of their mistakes.

9/11 is the new Clenis.

I live here. It's not exactly one of America's "great destination spots."

it's shameless and disgusting.

He should be kicked out of the forum. Worthless man.

I hope people watching will start to realize that Dems win debates because they have better ideas, not just because Republicans aren't good debaters.

76. Poor Kerik is overmatched. Clark has been breathing these talking
points for 2 years. Out of character, Paula has for some reason piled on Kerik. Kerik's no doubt over in over his head talking domestic policies but hey tuff luck. You gotta wonder, is this the best guy the Puglies had to send?

to the deficit. She just asked if they thought that health care was going to add and no one raised hands. I think most people have heard how he is going to pay by getting rid of tax break for the rich.

The people there tonight seem very informed. And Paula is really sticking it to the presidents guy because I think the people in Ohio are sick of being told they will get jobs and healthcare but it not happening.

80. What a mismatch...
Clark is articulate and imressive, as usual while Kerik trots out the sme old empty rhetoric and talking points. He's (Kerik) frequently off-the-mark, and his attempt at answering (dodging?) that draft question that featured a clever twist was a flatout embarassment.

Here are two people who could end up with high-level or even (in Clark's case) cabinet positions. Clark is winning hands-down, and that's the all caps truth.

86. Wes had an excellent response for tort reform
3 strikes and your out. If an attorney brings 3 frivilous oops on spelling lawsuits then he can't bring anymore. Said it was sort of part of the Kerry/Edwards plan, but the judicial system had to be avaiable to the people of this country. Right on.

I never get how people don't understand that the GOP plan for tort reform - capping damages - does NOT protect the average person who's been wronged! It protects the freakin' corporations who inflicted the damages. Way to go, General!
