'scuse me.....but the stockmarket is kinda....bombing
Over another hundred points down on the Dow, for openers, a few minutes ago. Darn...that means the American people (brightest on earth)will probably give George another couple point bounce in the polls. Let's see...that's an economy gone to hell to match an Iraq that's gone to hell to match a healthcare system that's gone to hell to match jobs that have gone to hell (well at least overseas) to match---you get the idea. So it just makes sense. Four more years, four more years, four more years. Too bad we never invested in education in this country because ignorance is going to kill us. WHAT MORE DO THESE MORONS IN THIS COUNTRY NEED???

3. good timing for Kerry

-- a sub-10K market is locked into the voters' minds for at least another 2.5 days, during which a few million early and absentee ballots will be cast.

7. Because they know Kerry will win
Look, let's be frank, the Wall Street slobs don't give a shit who's president so long as they get their tax cuts.
They are selfish pigs. People are cashing in because they know Kerry is a serious threat to the status quo.

One more round of tax cuts to the wealthiest 10% should do the trick and finally get this economy humming again.

23. LOL. Yes, there are so many parallels between Bush and Hoover
Right down to Smirk's empty slogan that "the economy has turned the corner"; which he repeated every quarter since he has been in office until one of his handlers recently pointed out to him that A) the economy is not improving and B) his slogan sounded too much like Hoover's "prosperity is around the corner".

Another 4 years with this Vindictive Moron in office and we will be in a depression.... if we aren't sliding into one today.

Fortunately, things are looking very, very good for Kerry. I honestly don't believe the American people will vote for another 4 of the same, 4 more years of preemptive, bloody wars based on lies and deceit and a president that only cares about making the rich, richer while millions of Americans get laid off due to his twisted economic agenda.

Go Kerry Go. Give that Son of a Bitch HELL.

14. Despite those "quiet corporate tax cuts" that Shrub just signed?
Well, even Wall Street can't avoid reality forever.

There's no "there" there for the market to be positive about, all illusory.

the market players, isn't it??? As the guy from Ohio being interviewed on CBS Evening News said last night: Bush says that outsourcing is good for us but what damn good does it do me if I don't have a job and so don't have money to buy the cheap stuff.

Golly, looks like corporate America forgot that if people aren't making money, they are just not going to shop until they drop. Oh, and they said it's going to be a "bleak Christmas". Greed eventually kills everything.

19. talking out both sides of their mouths...
They need to relearn diminishing returns or whatever the economic lingo is for when you go past market equilibrium; well, you know what I mean.

There really are too few jobs, people really are living under unmanageable debt, etc. Pretty soon these realities take a toll. You can only cut so many jobs before they start to make a genuine negative impact.

Oh, I remember the word I was looking for:

Greed.

22. Bush wants the nations children to be stupid...so they will vote for him.
"Too bad we never invested in education in this country because ignorance is going to kill us. WHAT MORE DO THESE MORONS IN THIS COUNTRY NEED???

Notice: Democracy has been canceled due to lack of interest."

and stupidly! That's why he is so interested in home schooling.
Spend their time teaching them to be good little Republicans and to hate all those evil liberals.

Great place to indoctrinate children...just like they do in the Teliban and Saudi Arabia. Only smart thing Bush has ever done!

24. And..................
It was probably.. ohHhhHhhh.. I dunno.. maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago that they had some friggin' (right-wing) Wall Street idiot on CNN who was absolutely giddy about Bush's chances in the election as a result of the DOW numbers he was citing that day. Of course, it was a one-sided opinion piece and they did not invite anyone from the other side to speak for Kerry.

Stocks had rallied for a day or so before his interview (I'm sorry.. I can't remember the dip$hit's name right off :P ).. but he INSISTED and I mean I-N-S-I-S-T-E-D - that when the DOW is up in October, history has proven that the incumbent wins.

The opposite happens he said, when stocks end on a downward note. 'Course, he was 100% confident there was no way that would happen. ;)

I just wish that CNN would drag these clueless idiots that are peeing in their pants with excitement back in again and do follow-up interviews. Show them the clip where they're making these ludicrous claims, and then ask them to comment on what they had said.

I know.. I know.. I'm dreaming to think that CNN would ever invite the A-hole back again..

And even if they did, you think he'd accept the invite? BwwWAAahahAahAhaHHA!!! :7
